The Oxford Suites was surprisingly, a very pleasant place to stay. Surprising, because originally making the reservation over the phone, was a bit of a chore. But upon arrival, it was smooth sailing. It all started at the front desk, where Stephanie was a true ray of sunshine! Check-in was effortless. The room was nicely appointed. The 'single' rooms are equipped with both a microwave and a mini-frig. The suites have a kitchenette, with a full-size refrigerator and electric stovetop. The interior facing rooms have a sliding glass door and balcony, overlooking the pool and courtyard. With an outdoor chair on the balcony, so you can relax and take in the cool breeze of a Lancaster evening. A special added touch is the shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied in the shower, as opposed to the tiny bar of soap and mini-bottles, supplied by most hotels. The Oxford also has a complimentary breakfast in the morning and happy hour in the evening. If you're in Lancaster, you can do good to treat yourself to a stay at the Oxford Suites.

I like the food and drink it provided. They give two coups of drink for each person. You choose soft drink, wine, beer or anything. The breakfast buffet is ok, just not great. Not many choices. There is a swimming pool and you can enjoy it. The room is clean, but very small. The restroom is very small. They installed very powerful light, and it is so hot that it makes you feel very uncomfortable, especially in summer times. I do not like it. But overall, it is an economic choice to have a place to rest for a night that is close to LA. Someone must like it very much and stayed for one week.
